Mayan Legends by the Caribbean Sea 1

Cancun is a famous tourist city in Mexico. It is located in the northern Caribbean Sea and the northeastern tip of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. In my opinion, in addition to the more monuments, this place is highly regarded mainly because: 1. The beautiful scenery of the Caribbean Sea; 2. Mayan monuments

Dallas, Texas, is adjacent to Mexico. I was thinking about going to Mexico. After being recommended by friends from Mexico, I finally decided to go to Cancun. The reason is that it is almost the most developed and safest city in Mexico. Of course, there are scenery, and everything else is full of clouds.

Before leaving, I did some homework indiscriminately on the Internet to find out where there is to play in Cancun. Originally I planned to register for a local tour group, and all procedures were simplified, but later I decided to challenge myself a little bit and experience the feeling of complete isolation and helplessness in a country where English is not very good. In the end, I booked the cheapest air tickets and hotels on the Internet, carried a backpack on my back, carried a pitiful amount of cash, and a few Chinese credit cards that I didn’t know if I could use it in Mexico, and embarked on a confused trip to Cancun. .

Departing from Dallas DFW Airport, we arrived in Cancun in less than 3 hours. It was close to 11 pm when I arrived in Cancun. Cancun’s airport may be the most luxurious airport in Mexico, but it actually looks like that

As soon as I left the airport, countless people asked me if I wanted to take a taxi. The Mexican Embassy website clearly stated that to ensure your safety, please take the taxi designated by the airport from the airport to the hotel. There are two types of taxis designated by the airport. One is Volkswagen and the other is Jetta. Volkswagen is $15 and Jetta is $17. Both are expensive. Later, I took a taxi from the hotel back to the airport and it cost only $15. In fact, this kind of taxi is equivalent to the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, because Cancun’s beaches are almost completely surrounded by hotels. As long as you walk along the coast of the Caribbean Sea, you can reach most hotels in Cancun. A van with 7 people can make $105 in one trip. It’s really a bargain. No wonder no other taxis can grab business. In the end, I was squeezed among a few Argentine girls and was taken to the Avalon Baccara hotel I booked by van.

Cancun Hotel Beach

The hotel’s exterior shot from the beach is quite bluff. Cancun’s beaches are basically monopolized by various hotels. In other words, if you don’t live in a hotel, it’s basically difficult to get to the beach. Most locals can only face the beautiful Caribbean Sea and sigh. As long as you stay in the hotel, you can reach the beach from behind the hotel. Because the beach is accessible, the resources at the entrance of each hotel can be used at will, such as beach chairs and motor boats on the beach-of course, this costs money. Finally, traveling here is similar to other coastal cities, except that there are more Mayan monuments.
