When visiting these two churches, you can also pay a visit to Palazzo dei Celestini, which is a very famous and popular plaza in this place. The buildings of these churches and plazas are actually very beautiful, and they all have the great facades with exuberant characteristics.

Next, you can pay a visit to the church of Santa Chiara and the church of Sant’Irene, and they are also very beautiful with its special features. Salento is also a place famous for its wines and the famous wine like Salice Salentino and Primitivo di Manduria are produced in Salento. There are a lot of traditional bars in this place, and you can see lots of craftsmen, dancers and musicians come here to chatting and drinking.

As for those people who love bathing, there are a lot of bathing resorts in this place, and the most famous two are Torre del Orso and Torre Specchia. If you keep traveling, you will arrive at Leuca, in which you can admire and appreciate the panoramic views and enchanting coves, and you can also enjoy the fabulous spas in here.
